The Trophy Bassmasters competed in their 3rd club
tournament of the season this past weekend at Lake
Loramie in west central Ohio. Although the fish averaged
small there were plenty to go around as 15 of the 16
anglers brought in at least 1 keeper bass for the day. A
grand total of 56 largemouth bass were scored ad
released with a total weight of just 59.39lbs. Top catch
of the day went to Bert Grubbs as his 5 fish creel came
in at 7.52lbs. Less than 3oz behind Grubbs in 2nd place
was Bob Flowers with 7.38lbs in his 5 fish limit. Third
place went to Boyd Downey with 6.14lbs and 5 fish. The
big bass of the day was brought in by Guy Gerber. His
catch weighed in at 2.18lbs. The new leader in Angler of
the Year point standings is Bert Grubbs.
