The Detroit River in Michigan has become 1 of the most productive destinations for the Trophy Bassmasters over the past several seasons. This year proved out as well. The 13 competitors brought in 58 keeper bass of at least 14” after their 9 hour day. Total weight was 146.24lbs. Don Ratcliff keeps padding his Angler of the Year point lead as he dominated the day with a double win. Ratcliff weighed in 5 beautiful smallmouth for 18.83lbs to capture 1^st place. Ratcliff’s bag included the big bass of the day at 4.15lbs. Boyd Downey also had a 5 fish limit with 4 smallmouth and 1 largemouth. Downey placed 2^nd with 15.13lbs. Logan Barker chased largemouth bass and made it work for him. Barker had 13.34lbs in 5 green fish to place 3^rd in this event.
