Beautiful weather with light breezes and warm sunny skies greeted the Trophy Bassmasters for their 3^rd club tournament of the season at Indian Lake over the weekend. The perfect conditions also brought out scores of watercraft which made for a very busy day on the lake. The fishing was a little slow as far as numbers but 23 of the 26 competitors brought in at least 1 keeper bass of at least 12”. A total of 59 largemouth bass were weighed and released with a combined weight of 65.67lbs. Following up his 2^nd place finish at the last Indian Lake tournament with a 1^st and big bass at this Indian Lake event was Don Kraft. He nailed 5 fish at 6.88lbs including the 2.33lb big bass of the day. Second place went to Bob Flowers. He also had a 5 fish limit. His catch tipped the scales at 5.88lbs. Jim Miller rounded out the top 3 with 5.18lbs in the 3^rd and final 5 fish limit. After 3 tournaments Don Kraft has returned to the top of the Angler of the Year point race. Kraft dominated the club in the earlier years with several years of consecutive Angler of the Year titles.
