The wind and the rain did not dampen the spirits of the Trophy Bassmasters as they competed on Indian Lake this past weekend. Fourteen members took to the water at 7:00AM for an 8 ½ hour day. Eleven anglers had at least 1 keeper of at least 12”. A total of 37 keepers were scored and released by the club weighing in at 51.51lbs. Top prize for the day went to Steve Barker who netted 1 of the 5 fish limits during the day. His creel tipped the scales at 6.86lbs. Second place with a 5 fish bag at 6.57lbs was captured by Don Kraft. A close 3rd place went to Todd Neu. Neu only had 4 bass but they weighed in at 6.46lbs for the position. Big Bass of the day was brought in by Virgil Grant. He earned the prize with a beautiful 4.24lb largemouth.
