 Kelly Dearwester claimed all the honors at the 3rd
Trophy Basssmasters club tournament of the young 2013
season. Lake Loramie near Minster Ohio was the site of
the event. Fourteen members competed during the 8 ½ hr
day and the catches were slim. No one had a 5 bass limit
and 6 anglers failed to bring a 12” keeper to the
scales. Only 22 bass were weighed in for a total of
36.88lbs. All were released alive back to the lake.
Dearwester had 4 fish and 8.48lbs for 1st
place. One of his fish weighed 3.48lbs and claimed the
big bass of the day. Dave Wedertz also brought in 4 bass
for 7.24lbs and 2nd place. Don Kraft had
6.99lbs in 4 bass for the 3rd spot. With the
win Dearwester takes over the top spot in the Angler of
the Year point race with 11 events still to go. |
