The Trophy Bassmasters held their 8th club tournament of the season this past weekend at Lake St Clair in Michigan. Only 7 members made the long journey north. All 7 anglers brought in at least 1 keepers bass of at least 14� to be weighed and scored. Boyd Downey won his 4th event of the season as he had 5 smallmouth bass for 14.96lbs. Virgil Grant also 5 smallmouth and 14.21lbs for 2nd place. John Clark had a mixed bag of smallmouth and largemouth for 5 fish and 14.11lbs for 3rd place. Clark�s catch also included the day�s big bass. It was a 4.48lb largemouth. In all the 7 members brought in 29 keepers that weighed 74.28lbs.
