Creek was the site of the 9th club tournament
of the season for the Trophy Bassmasters this past
weekend. Fourteen members competed on the big inland
lake for 8 ˝ hours with overall slim results. Only 31
keepers of 12” or more were brought to the scales for a
total of 48.67lbs. John Clark had no problem finding
quality fish as he brought in 5 keepers that weighed
10.30lbs to take the top spot. Don Kraft netted 4 fish
at 8.91lbs for 2nd place including the day’s
big bass at 3.39lbs. Boyd Downey had the only other 5
fish limit. Downey’s catch weighed 6.54lbs and earned
the 3rd position
