The Trophy Bassmasters held their 33^rd Annual Indian Lake Spring Open bass tournament last weekend under extremely adverse conditions. Cold overnight temperatures and high winds the entire day helped to keep participation numbers down. There were 88 two man teams entered though for a shot at the $2500.00 award for 1^st place. The lake did produce well with 245 keeper bass weighed in with a 455.3lb total. All the bass were released alive back into the lake. The top prize went to the duo of Travis and Jeremy Tenwalde from Fort Jennings Ohio. They brought in 13.51lbs in 5 fish for the $2500.00 1^st prize and 2 plaques. Following in 2^nd place was Charles & Jeff Ratliff with 5 fish and 12.54lb. They received $1000.00 and 2 plaques. Craig Ambos and Gary Becker rounded out the top 3 with 12.03 in 5 bass. They collected $500.00 and 2 plaques for their efforts. The duo of Rodney & Chris Spencer from Waynesfield, Ohio brought in the big bass of the day.
