Pleasant weather and good fishing conditions didn't help the bite as 95 boats contended for the 1200 first place prize in this years Spring Open.

There was 131 fish weighed in weighing 166.19 pounds  which is rather sparse for this time of year on one of Ohio's better bass producing inland lakes.

 The bulk of the fishermen stated the fish were caught very shallow on spinner baits and worms.
