	The Trophy Bassmasters competed in their final club tournament of the season on the Vermillion River and adjoining Lake Erie. The fishing was slow for Lake Erie even though all but 4 of the 15 competitors brought fish to the scales. Only 2 limits of 5 keepers were brought in and only 30 keepers were scored weighing 79.82. First place was hotly contested as Judd Rarey and Bob Flowers had very close weights. Flowers edged Rarey out as he had a full limit that weighed in at 14.38lbs. Rarey only managed 4 keepers for 14.09lbs but his sacked included the days as well as the year’s big bass as he netted a 5.02lb smallmouth bass. Third place went to Heath McGrew. He had a 5 fish limit tipping the scales at 11.88lbs. The club has several activities planned for the remainder of the year but this was the last event that counted toward Mr. Bass point totals.
