	The Trophy Bassmasters held their 9th club tournament of the season at Sandusky Bay. Only 14 members made the trip and 12 of them had at least 1 keeper of 14” or more. A total of 51.89lbs and 19 fish were weighed and recorded. Boyd Downey had 3 bass weighing 8.10lbs for the 1st place award. The win gave Downey the 2006 Mr. Bass point championship as he has a large enough point lead with only 1 tournament left to take the title. Second place went to Mark Dairy. He only had 2 fish but they weighed 7.68lbs. Dave Wedertz won the 3rd place award with 3 bass weighing 6.77lbs. The Big Bass award went to Judd Rarey. He nailed 1 smallmouth at 4.98lbs for the honor. Rarey also took over the Big Bass for the year with his catch. With only 1 tournament left the point race is very tight for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
