The Trophy Bassmasters competed in their 2nd outing of the year at Alum Creek with slightly better results than at Indian Lake. The 16 competitors competed for 8 hours and brought just 8 keepers to weigh-in. Bob Flowers was the only angler to capture 2 bass but they outdistanced the rest of the field by over 4lbs. His catch totaled 6 ½ lbs. Flowers creel included the big bass of the day as he netted a 3.89lb largemouth. Second place was Mark Butler with 1 fish weighing 2.32lbs. Boyd Downey took 3rd with 2.24lbs and 1 fish.
