The Trophy
Bassmasters finally got their 2004 tournament schedule underway. Inclement
weather had delayed the opening of the season and even cancelled the first
tournament which was to be held on Buckeye Lake. Once the season finally got
underway it was slow beginning as only 3 members could bring in a 12” keeper
bass at Pleasant Hill reservoir in east central Ohio. Larry Oskins Jr. had 1
largemouth that weighed 1.53lbs to take both the big bass and 1st
place award. Boyd Downey netted a 1.12lb fish for 2nd and Judd
Rarey brought in a squeaker at .87lb for 3rd place.
