The Trophy Bassmasters shifted gears last weekend as they left the big waters of Lake Erie and traveled to the much calmer waters of Lake Loramie in West Central Ohio. The small impoundment proved tough once again as the 10 competitors brought in just 18 keepers over the 12” minimum. The bass averaged small in size as the total weight was only 21.36lbs. Proving once again how tough he is on inland lakes was Paul Pemberton. His win gave him 2 firsts and 1 second place finish this year on the smaller waters.Pemberton brought in the only 5 fish limit weighing 4.93lbs to claim the victory. Steve Ganger garnered 2nd place with 3 bass and 4.75lbs. His creel included the Big Bass of the day with a 2.70lb largemouth. Finishing a close 3rd was Larry Pennington. He had 4 small keepers that weighed 4.48lbs.
