Nick McCullough tops the field of 18 fellow Trophy Bassmasters to win the opening tournament of the season with 4 fish weighing 7.51 pounds.  Steve Ganger with 3 fish going 4.07 takes second and Nathan Youngs the youngest member of the club lands a 3.49 lunker for big bass and third place.

  The temperature was mild around 70 degrees but a steady often heavy rain during the entire tournament made conditions less than desirable for the anglers.  From the field of 18 contestants, only 16 fish were caught  weighing 35.9 pounds.  All were released back into Indian Lake alive.
